Kathleen Kemarre

Kathleen is married to Greeny Purvis and they have 4 daughters. Greeny is senior custodian for Alhalkere country. Both are respected artists in the Utopia region of Central Australia. Kathleen often paints elements of the Yam story from Alhalkere country - an important food source in that region - with very fine dots representing the seeds of this plant.
